Laser Window Overview

Laser Windows are precision protective optical components manufactured from high-purity fused silica (SiO₂). The material provides excellent ultraviolet transmission, low optical absorption and stable performance across UV, visible and near-infrared wavelengths.

Chenyu Optics manufactures laser windows from fused silica, optical glass, sapphire, calcium fluoride (CaF₂) and zinc selenide (ZnSe) for UV, visible, near-infrared and infrared laser systems.

Each laser window can be customized according to laser wavelength, CW or pulsed operation, power density, incident angle, polarization, dimensions, surface requirements and coating specifications.

Key Advantages of Laser Windows

High transmission efficiency at laser wavelengths.
Low optical absorption for reduced thermal effects.
High laser damage threshold.
Stable optical performance under high-power operation.
Wide material selection for different laser wavelengths.
Custom dimensions and laser AR coatings available.
