Custom Optical Dome Overview

Custom Optical Domes are precision protective optical components manufactured from high-purity fused silica (SiO₂). The material provides excellent ultraviolet transmission, low optical absorption and stable performance across UV, visible and near-infrared wavelengths.

Chenyu Optics offers sapphire, fused silica, zinc sulfide (ZnS), zinc selenide (ZnSe), silicon and germanium domes for UV, visible, NIR, MWIR and LWIR applications.

Each optical dome can be customized according to customer drawings, including material, diameter, height, curvature, wall thickness, surface accuracy, surface quality and AR coating.
