What is a short pass filter?
A shortpass filter is an optical filter that allows short-wavelength light to pass through. While it blocks longer-wavelength light.
The cutoff point of this filter is typically defined by the wavelength at which the transmittance is 50%.
And light with a wavelength lower than the cutoff wavelength has a high transmittance, while light with a wavelength higher than the cutoff wavelength is strongly suppressed.
