ZnS optical window
- Multispectral Grade Zinc Sulfide Substrate
- Low Absorption and Low Scatter from 0.4 – 12μm
- Available Uncoated or 3 – 12μm Broadband AR Coated Option
ZnS Optical Windows are high-performance infrared windows made from zinc sulfide, offering excellent transmission from visible to long-wave infrared (0.4-12µm). They are widely used in thermal imaging, FLIR systems, and aerospace applications due to their durability and broad spectral range. ZnS windows come in two types: multispectral and cleartran, with the latter providing higher transmission and lower scatter. Their high strength and resistance to harsh environments make them ideal for demanding optical systems. Custom sizes and coatings are available to meet specific application needs.
