What is a Silicon Optical Spherical Lens?
The silicon optical spherical lens is a spherical optical lens fabricated on a single-crystal silicon substrate.
It achieves the convergence, divergence or collimation of light through the refraction effect on its spherical surface.
Unlike traditional glass lenses, the core advantage of silicon lenses lies in the infrared wavelength range, especially in the mid-infrared and far-infrared regions.
Therefore, it is a “standard component” of infrared optical systems.
